I am honoured by city residents who have chosen me to serve as a Councillor for the next four years.
The theme of my 2022 election campaign was “Victoria would be so much cleaner and inviting, so much safer and prosperous, if the well-being and interests of those who live here become Council’s priorities.”
Towards this objective, trust in City governance must be rebuilt.
I will advocate for:
- Governance rooted in authentic public participation in policy and decision-making
- Council meeting its core responsibilities of safety and protection
- Five Pillars approach for those unable to care for themselves: prevention, harm reduction, treatment/recovery, enforcement, housing
- Sensible policies to increase housing to meet the needs of our diverse population
- City streets, parks, and neighbourhoods that enhance liveability
- Focus on practices which support community response to climate change
